Homecoming Lights - it's more than just a slogan. It is a feeling. It is a return to a place where light not only illuminates, but touches. Our luminaires create atmosphere, a sense of security and character - for rooms that not only look beautiful, but also feel like home.

Every s.luce begins with an idea. This is followed by a hand drawing in which the concept takes shape. A first model is then created using 3D printing before a first sample is produced. Targeted optimization and fine-tuning finally result in a product ready for series production that is ready to transform rooms.

As experts in decorative lighting design, we develop luminaires for apartments, houses, restaurants, hotels, doctors' surgeries and exhibition stands. We analyze existing top sellers on the market, rethink them and create our own bestsellers from them - with unmistakable s.luce.

The s.luce brand is born - the own brand is launched and marketed under its own name for the first time. The aim is to combine individual design with marketable prices.

The brand s.luce brand was born out of the desire to make the high design standards and creative identity of the company's own luminaire ranges visible - both for end customers and for architects, planners and project developers. With a clear brand profile, high-quality product photography, well thought-out collections and a characteristic design language, s.luce has created an unmistakable position in the market.

The products marketed under s.luce combine contemporary design with functional lighting technology and are known for their stylish aesthetics as well as their versatility - from minimalist individual luminaires to modular lighting systems for complex architectural projects.

Internationalization

Internationalization - The distribution of s.luce luminaires starts throughout Europe and wins its first project customers abroad.

2007

1. million luminaires

With the sale of the one millionth s.luce luminaire, the brand reaches a historic milestone - a symbolic moment that impressively confirms the ongoing success, consistent brand development and customer confidence in s.luce luminaires.

This success is the result of years of product development, precise market positioning and clear design standards. Since the launch of s.luce , the brand has stood for modern, high-quality and affordable lighting solutions that are used both in private homes and in professional architecture and design projects.

The million mark not only documents the growth and popularity of the brand, but also the aspiration to translate its own ideas into marketable, emotional and functional products. It is also a sign of the strength of an owner-managed company that has consistently built up, expanded and established its own brand internationally.

2010

Opening of the light experience showroom in Simbach am Inn - s.luce becomes an emotional brand experience on over 1,000 m².

Launch of the s.luce Pro series - Customized solutions for architects, planners and large-scale projects are increasingly coming into focus.

2015

Strategic realignment

Strategic realignment following change of management - The s.luce own brand is being systematically developed further under Managing Director Daniel Skapetze, with a clear focus on design quality, sustainability and brand identity.

2016

Luminaire of the year

With the nomination of the s.luce Skada as "Luminaire of the Year" , the top Bavarian brand has received special recognition for its design expertise and innovative strength. In the lighting and furnishing industry, the award is regarded as an important indicator of design quality, creative relevance and market resonance.

The fact that the Skada luminaire from the in-house s.luce collection is one of the finalists underlines the brand's consistent development into a serious player in international lighting design.

2018

Smart control

Another important innovative step in the development of the own brand s.luce brand was the development of the first smart luminaires, which are specifically designed to meet the requirements of modern building automation and intelligent lighting control.

Compatibility with leading control protocols such as DALI, ZigBee and Casambi has significantly expanded the technical possibilities of s.luce products. As a result, the luminaires can be seamlessly integrated into smart home systems, professional building management systems or complex lighting control scenarios - whether in private residential projects, commercial applications or in the contract sector.

2019

Modular lighting systems

Expansion of the product range to include modular lighting systems - flexible lighting solutions are introduced for the residential and commercial sectors that can be individually adapted to any room situation.

2020

s.luce goes Green

As part of its consistent sustainability strategy s.luce is taking another important step towards responsible production: packaging is now made entirely of paper and plastics are deliberately avoided. This measure not only reduces the ecological footprint, but also reflects the desire to act in a resource-conserving and future-oriented manner.

But the changeover does not end with the packaging. Product development is another area where s.luce is also increasingly focusing on sustainable and recycled materials - including recycled aluminum and other environmentally friendly materials.

The design of the lights follows the principle of longevity: timeless design meets solid workmanship - for products that not only look good, but also last in the long term.

These decisions are part of a comprehensive change that runs through all areas of the company - from the selection of materials and production in regional partner companies to the reduction of CO₂ emissions along the supply chain.

This underlines s.luce once again underlines the fact that sustainability and design are not mutually exclusive - they belong together.

Re-design

The company ushered in a new era with a comprehensive brand redesign.

The brand relaunch is an expression of a heightened brand awareness and a far-reaching strategic change. At its heart is a new understanding of values that is consistently oriented towards the guiding principles of design, sustainability and innovation. These values not only shape the corporate culture, but also every product development, every plan and every customer contact.

The redesign also saw the introduction of new luminaire models that underline the design claim: minimalist design, clear lines, high-quality materials and technological precision. The visual transformation is complemented by a new visual language that focuses more strongly on emotion, architectural references and brand identity - both in print and online

s.luce Shop

For the first time, the brand s.luce brand was also positioned digitally with its own store - with an independent brand presence, its own web store, its own content concept and targeted brand communication.

The focus is on a brand experience that combines aesthetics, sustainability and smart technology. The store not only offers the opportunity to buy, but also presents the lights in inspiring application scenarios and at the same time conveys the attitude behind the brand: urban, contemporary, sustainable and clear in its design language.

With the online relaunch s.luceshows that a design brand can also develop strongly and independently in the digital space - a courageous and consistent step towards the future.
