Even more beautiful in combination
The canopy of the Ring pendant light is designed so that up to 6 lights can be connected via one power outlet. Combine different colors and sizes, as centric or eccentric suspension and create a unique ensemble. There are no limits to your creativity. Simply order the desired conversion for the selected lights. We deliver your chosen lights to your home ready for connection in your desired configuration. The cable length can be adjusted on site.
Your individual configuration
You can configure the number of rings, the suspension, the color of the canopy and the dimming technology yourself so that the light can be delivered exactly as you want it. We'll show you what to look out for when making your choice.
Model
Select the conversion according to the number of rings that you want to operate with a canopy and therefore with a power outlet.
Suspension
With the Ring pendant light, you have the choice between a centric suspension or an eccentric suspension. With centric suspension, all 3 cables run together on the canopy, while with eccentric suspension, only the live cable runs into the canopy and the two non-current-carrying cables can be placed freely around the canopy.
If you order a single Ring pendant light, the suspension can be determined on site during installation. When delivered, the suspension is eccentric. Here you can choose the color of the canopy as well as the dimming technology (iLight, or DALI).
Color of the canopy
Determine the color of the canopy used according to your wishes. You have the option of choosing the right canopy for your ring combination from 4 or 6 colors. Select the canopy in the ring color, or use a white canopy for a particularly inconspicuous installation. In the case of an eccentric conversion, the matching steel cable holders are also supplied in the color of the canopy. We always use the smallest possible canopy for the selected combination. This is usually as follows:
1 ring
- Canopy Ø 18 cm or Ø 27 cm
- Selectable colors: black, white, gold or brushed aluminum
2 - 3 rings
- Canopy Ø 27 cm
- Selectable colors: black, white, gold or brushed aluminum
4 - 6 rings
- Canopy Ø 33 cm
- Selectable colors: black, white, gold or brushed aluminum
Dimming
Phase control/section
The s.luce Ring pendant luminaires are dimmable by leading edge/trailing edge phase control on delivery. If you would like to dim them, you will need an appropriate LED dimmer. You can find our dimmer recommendations in the article description of the Ring pendant lights. If you want to dim the lights using leading edge/trailing edge phase control, select this option. If you have not installed a dimmer and do not wish to dim the luminaire in any other way, you should also select this version.
iLight
If you have not installed a dimmer, the s.luce Ring pendant lights can alternatively be dimmed by remote control. If you select iLight as the configuration, appropriate controllers are installed which establish a wireless connection to the remote control supplied. You can switch the lights on and off and dim them using the remote control. If you use the existing light switch, the last setting is always retained.

DALI
DALI is a wired system in which the control signal is sent via a separate control line, which can be processed by the installed DALI-capable transformer. To be able to control a luminaire via DALI, you need a corresponding DALI gateway, e.g. via Loxone or KNX. To enable you to control via DALI, we install a corresponding DALI-capable transformer in your Ring pendant light combination.
ZigBee
ZigBee is a manufacturer-independent wireless standard that has also become established for controlling lighting, among other things. To be able to control the Ring pendant lights via ZigBee, a ZigBee controller is installed in the canopy of the light. You also need a ZigBee gateway (not included). You can use our iLight ZigBee gateway. If you are already using a gateway/bridge from another manufacturer, e.g. the Philips Hue Bridge or the Ikea TRÅDFRI Gateway, you can also control the Ring pendant light in this configuration.
NOTE: This item is the labor for the conversion including all accessories required for the conversion such as transformers, controllers and remote controls. The scope of delivery is determined by the selected configuration. No lights are included in the scope of delivery.
